God has set an open door before you
the many things that were said to John, the words we read above were said.
Jesus was saying to John, he had the key of David.
I cannot particularly discuss about that key now. But suffice to say that He is the one who has the key, and can open or shut at will and no man dares to reverse that. The one with the key is the one with authority to determine the course of things.
Jesus is the ultimate and is sovereign. What He determines is what will be accomplished. Whom He blesses is blessed; whosoever He curses is cursed.
When He opens a door, no man can shut it. When He closes a door, no man can open it. No one outside of Him can determine the way things should go in your life.
In Isaiah, God says what He thought is what comes to pass and what He purposes shall stand. When God stretches out His hand to do anything, no one can hinder that.
Isaiah 14:24 and 27
The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying: “Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand. Verse 27 reads: “For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? And His hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?”
No one can annul what God has purposed.
It was Balaam, a hireling prophet who assayed to curse Israel. Because God had blessed Israel, Balaam could not curse him. Instead, Balaam blessed Israel and said, in Numbers 23:19-20:
“God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the Son of Man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?”
Verse 20 reads: “Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and He hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.”
In Isaiah, the Bible says when His word goes out of His mouth, that word will not go back to Him empty. It accomplishes what it is sent for. The word of God will defeat satan, anywhere, at any time, and on any condition.
What God has planned for you will come to pass. If it is a goal that you have set for yourself and God is in it, you will achieve that goal.
If it is a job, you seek and God is determined to avail it for you, this will be fulfilled.
It does not matter who does not want you to get that job: it will be yours.
Jesus is the door to the sheepfold. In other words, He stands at the door to ensure you enter the door and that once you enter you remain secure because He stands guard at the door.
Do not be afraid to lose what God has given you. He gives and protects what He has given.
Peninah was around when Hannah got her baby. Hagar was around when Sarah obtained Isaac. Pilate was there when Jesus rose from the dead.
The Red Sea tried to barricade the way of the children of Israel on their way from Egypt, but God said Israel was going to be in the Promised Land.
The Red Sea opened and Israel walked on dry ground.
Pluck courage and speak positively and affirm that you are going to come out right. If God is for us, who can be against us.
Whether Goliath liked it or not, God had opened the door of victory for David.
Whether Pharaoh liked it or not, God had opened the door for Israel’s exodus.
Haters cannot shut the door when God has opened it for you.
God has opened the door of opportunities for you.
The doors of finances, marriage, business, job opportunities and every blessing are open before you.
An open door is an open invitation to enter. You do not have to struggle to push it open.
God has set an open door before you: just saunter through it. Behind the door are precious treasures.
They are yours. No man can take that away from you.
