Responses to “Beware of

counterfeit seed”

Thank you for the article. Let us all be careful when buying seed so that we are not conned. The conmen are out there to steal from our hard- earned cash. — Rudo.

Response to “68-year-old refuses to be cowed by disability”

What an inspiring story. I hope someone out there will give this man capital to grow his small business so he continues to take care of his family. He is hardworking and I hope many others emulate him. — Jati. www.herald.co.zw

Response to “Drug abuse: ‘Mutoriro’ cases flood courts”

My heart breaks to see the youth of this country succumb to drug abuse, but it is comforting to know that the Government and hospitals have ways to rehabilitate those who have taken drugs. It should not be the end of one’s life, but those responsible for spreading the meth should be punished. — Hardlife Zvirikwi.

Those bringing drugs into the country must be identified and arrested. They have caused a lot of suffering in families whose loved ones take drugs. Authorities should widen the net especially, the country’s entry points. Let us fight the drug problem as a community. — James Phiri.

I look forward to this event very much. It is an inspiration to see that weekends in Zimbabwe have events to broaden the mind by hearing the experiences of influential people like Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa and Shacky Timburwa: a definite mover and shaker! — Runyararo.

*** Response to “Anti-sanctions fight a gear up”

Cde Editor, the continued ratcheting of pressure against the sanctions is timely and welcome. The Western neo- colonial nations that support and continue to impose sanctions should allow our economy to recover fully. Any person who reads even A’ Level economics can see how sanctions are the major cause of our economic squeeze. Down with the sanctions! — Cde Mzvinavhu.
