RESPONSE to “Zim, China sign landmark MoUs as President scores big in Beijing”. China is the prototype for every developing nation. They cooperated, worked hard and achieved a lot with limited outside influence. Today their dream is not only to provide a reasonably comfortable life for their people but to help achieve the same elsewhere. These are true friends to hold onto. This is true progress for Zimbabwe and Africa. — Shanna
RESPONSE to “Gloves off in NSSA crisis”. We need diversity guys, we can’t have locals only as board members of our companies. In other jurisdictions board members can be appointed even from overseas. I thought the board members were not executives. So you expect all board members in Zimbabwe companies to stop running their companies and concentrate on being board members! Oh my foot, I think the truth is not being told here; this does not make sense AT ALL. — Shocked
RESPONSE to “Local private media must selfintrospect”. He who pays the piper picks the tune. We all know what the so-called private media is here for and who is behind its control. I waited in vain for an article from the private media on the success story of the nation’s grain production last season. Nothing appeared. All news must be reported regardless. But as you correctly say, people choose to see what they want, and judging from the gullibility of news readership, the private media will continue to churn out negatives about the country and will find quite a bit of negative minds too to read them. It’s now a case of who puts food on a journalist’s table. Professionalism took a hike a long time ago. — Masaisai
IF you hate someone do not create unnecessary issues against the person, the truth will always come out. It is now clear that there are people pushing Goba. The complainant has changed and clearly stated that she was not raped and has never been pregnant in her life. It looks like there are political and religious leaders who wanted to use her against PWM. — Tinontoga
