Wina hails Mangango PF victory
PATRIOTIC Front’s winning of Mangango Constituency in Western Province is a triumphant entry in the province, Vice President Inonge Wina has said. Ms Wina said the entry through Mangango was useful and a clear demonstration that people of Western Province now wanted to work with the PF government and that it was the beginning of better things for the party. Ms Wina said this during the vice President’s questions for oral answers in Parliament yesterday when PF deputy secretary Mumbi Phiri wanted to find if the winning of Mangango seat was a triumphant entry and if the party would win the Solwezi seat. She said it was a big achievement to the party because the area was considered to be a citadel of the opposition UPND. She said people Mangango had shown maturity and adherence to the law. Ms Wina was confident the PF would in future win any seat in Western Province that fell vacant. The Vice President commended the people of Mangango for conducting violence free elections. “Mr Speaker the people of Mangango Constituency have clearly demonstrated that they want to work with government and this is the beginning of better things for the party,” said Ms Wina. Meanwhile, Ms Wina said Government was making efforts to ensure that Nitrogen chemicals of Zambia (NCZ) in Kafue district was recapitalised. Ms Wina said Government had since invited investors who have shown willingness to invest in NCZ.
