NEVERS MUMBA HAS COMPLETELY LOST IT

-

Dear Editor LITTLE wonder Ne ers Mumba is in the doldrums. He does not understand precepts o scripture and neither does he appreciate constitutionalism. If he was truly a man of God, he would have understood that leadership is not enthroned by chance but by divine intervention. This is why the Bible entreats subjects to obey their leaders. Ever since he joined UPND Mr. Mumba has never ceased to surprise me by the antics which he displays in his effort to remain relevant to Zambia’s political life which has moved on without him. No self-respecting nation will allow a man like Mr. Mumba to dictate terms and issues to a sitting President elected by the majority of the Zambian people. Mr. Lungu was not elected from a regional block vote he was elected from the most populous and highly mixed urbar community because he represented their interests. On the contrary most of HH’s votes came from the Southern Province where astronomical figures exceeding 90percent voter turnout were recorded. Such a leader represents sectional interest and would not be able to command national support. As for Mr. Mumba himself his scorecard is dismal. He has never won any contest worth talking of. His endeavours have always ended up in disaster in the same way that the Victory Ministry imploded. Our country is destined for greater things and does not require detractors whose only preoccupation is to cast aspersion and downplay the efforts of many illustrious citizens. I ask that the President, all the senior Government officials simply ignore Mr. Mumba and carry on with their work. Tenison Mukupa
