Patriots’ keys to victory: The Patriots will be facing the Seahawks for the first time without QB Tom Brady at the helm and will likely be taking a page from Seattle’s own playbook to run the ball. New England had a rush-heavy first week and a commanding win against the Dolphins. New England and QB Cam Newton could be onto something this season. While the Seahawks normally succeed in the spotlight of prime time, there will be no fans. If Newton and Company can continue to ground and pound the football, New England has a decent chance to take Seattle on the road.

Seahawks’ keys to victory: QB Russell Wilson threw for for four touchdowns and for more than 300 yards in Atlanta. Seattle has become more and more of a passing team, even adding new weapons around Wilson this offseason. But Seattle must find a way to tighten up its offensive line in time to face the Patriots and their defense, which is looking to be one of the best in the league.

Matchup to watch: Patriots’ Newton vs. Seahawks defensive line. The Seahawks will need to focus on defending the run or the game could get away quickly. The Patriots rushed for 217 yards against Miami while Seattle allowed only 72 to Atlanta. However, Seahawks’ pass-rushing ability is still up in the air.

Who wins? The Seahawks might come to learn just how much they rely on the 12th Man at home. Look for things to stay tight with Wilson playing a solid game but it’s likely Newton’s turn to shine in Seattle.
