Wide receiver

With a major cap hit going into 2020, finding a replacemen­t for Sammy Watkins this offseason will keep the offense humming for the foreseeabl­e future. The Chiefs should look to grab a player like Deebo Samuel or Riley Ridley on Day 2.

Safety

Eric Berry’s release leaves a hole at free safety. Armani Watts is back from injury, but adding a player like Nasir Adderley or Juan Thornhill on Day 2 will shore up what has been a problem area.

The Chiefs are finally moving on from Demetrius Harris. Travis Kelce is coming back from minor offseason ankle surgery. While he is still productive, he would benefit from the addition of a young run-blocking tight end who is able to help in the passing game.
