The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
FRIDAY
8:38 a.m., assault — A man at a hospital on Greenley Road said a patient threw hot soup at his face, shirt and pants.
3:37 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man at a bus stop on Stockton Road was yelling and screaming that he was going to kill someone.
4:58 p.m., theft — A woman took a cart full of merchandise out the door through a selfcheckout lane at a store on Sanguinetti Road.
8:11 p.m., public intoxication — Two men were fighting in front of a store on South Stewart Street and one was bleeding from the face.
SATURDAY
12:39 p.m., miscellaneous code violations — A yellow tag was removed from a home on Mccormick Drive and a male resident was inside with his young child, even though the house was deemed to be “unsafe.”
3:22 p.m., miscellaneous code violations — A caller said a man approached him at a store on Sanguinetti Road and asked if he wanted to buy “molly,” a slang term for an illegal street drug. When officers arrived, they determined the man was selling tamales, not molly.
SUNDAY
2:06 a.m., assault — A man at a bar on South Washington Street said his friend came up to him and hit him in the testicles, and he wanted to press charges.
3:40 p.m., fraudulent activities — A caller on Orchard Avenue said they sent explicit messages to someone on a dating app and were being blackmailed for money. The person threatened to send the photos to family members and others if the caller did not pay them. A responding officer took a report and advised the caller not to put personal information on social media.
8:27 p.m., suspicious circumstances — The Sheriff’s Office said someone was using a street sign as a stripper pole on Lower Sunset Drive.
10:21 p.m., obstruction of justice/resisting arrest — A tow truck driver said an intoxicated person on South Washington Street was jumping on his tow truck and also had him stopped, as he was standing in the middle of the road screaming.

11:02 a.m., Jamestown — A construction company on O’byrnes Ferry Road was vandalized.
12:41 p.m., Jamestown — Property on Bench Drive was vandalized.
12:59 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said she lost her phone at a store on Sanguinetti Road and when she “pinged” it, it showed up at a mobile home park on Highway 108.
2:38 p.m., Jamestown — A caller at a mobile home park on Highway 108 believed someone broke into her mobile home.
SATURDAY
8:01 a.m., La Grange — Someone was robbed on an undisclosed street.
11:09 a.m., Sonora — Someone’s identity was stolen at a mobile home park on Belleview Road.
2:26 p.m., Groveland — A yard tractor was stolen on Woodside Way.
4:54 p.m., Soulsbyville — Threats were made on Caylor Drive.
SUNDAY
9:13 p.m., Twain Harte — Property was burglarized on Confidence South Fork Road.

4:17 p.m., Jamestown — Gambino Herrera, 38, of the 1100 block of Kingsley Avenue, Stockton, was booked after an arrest at Highway 49 and Sierra Rock Road.
7:19 p.m., Sonora — Charles Preston Bryant, 29, of the 18400 block of Oak Street, Tuolumne, was booked after an arrest on Industrial Drive.
8:48 p.m., Twain Harte — William Thomas Haack, 65, of the 24200 block of Sierra Park Road, Mi-wuk Village, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108.

Brad Leon Mciver, 49, of the 8400 block of Old Melones Dam Road, was booked after an arrest at Old Melones Dam and Shell roads.
