Hamilton mayor to perform Valentine’s Day weddings
HAMILTON >> During a time of infighting within the township’s administration, there’s no love lost.
Hamilton residents who wish to exchange their wedding vows on Valentine’s Day can have Mayor Kelly Yaede officiate the ceremony.
In typical political fashion to change the focus of township drama, the mayor’s press flack distributed a release Wednesday announcing Yaede will be performing Valentine’s Day ceremonies at Kuser Mansion — the townshipowned, Queen Anne-style former summer home of Fred Kuser of the prominent Kuser Family.
“One of the best parts of being mayor is being able to officiate the wedding ceremonies of so many happy couples; and Valentine’s Day presents itself as a very special holiday for these special ceremonies,” Mayor Yaede said in the written statement.

Yaede this Valentine’s Day are asked to contact her office by Thursday, February 7. Call 609-890-3507 to discuss details prior to scheduling the ceremony time.
Afterwards, couples must contact the township’s Division of Health by noon on February 8 to schedule an in-person appointment for the marriage license application.
Due to the limited availability for ceremonies, couples are encouraged to contact the township as soon as possible. Ceremonies will be booked on a first come, first serve basis.
The mansion’s Drawing Room, where the ceremonies will take place, can accommodate up to 20 guests for the couples.
The mansion sits inside the 22-acre Kuser Farm Park. The Kuser’s business interests included Fox Film Corporation, Lenox Company and the Mercer Motor Car Company.
