Carol Ann Quash was born on July 6, 1945 daughter of the late John and Eva Warren and wife of the late William S. Quash

III. She went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2018.

Carol was known to many as “La La”. She graduated from Trenton High School. She worked for Bell Telephone /Verizon for over 30 years. Following her retirement from Verizon she continued to work at North 25 Housing. She was a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, in Trenton, NJ. She happily served on the Scholarshi­p Committee.

Carol was a loving wife, mother and grandmothe­r. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She and a group of friends lovingly known as “The Cut Up Crew” met regularly to enjoy conversati­on and dinner. She enjoyed the holidays with her family and looked forward to her family vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC each year with her children, grandchild­ren and sister-friend Edith Laramore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Edwin “Alan” Warren.

Carol leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Tara Quash of Marlton, NJ, son William S. Quash IV, daughter-in-law, Nicole Quash of Williamsto­wn, NJ, 3 grandchild­ren Amani Reed of Marlton, NJ, William S. Quash V and Nia Quash of Williamsto­wn, NJ brother John “Sonny” Warren, sister-in-law Virginia Warren of Hamilton, NJ, brother Charles “Gene” Warren of Pemberton, NJ , sister, Cynthia Warren of Hamilton, NJ sister-in-law Joyce Vereen, brother-in-law Harold Vereen of Lawrencevi­lle, NJ, sister-in-law Cynthia Manufeka of Honolulu, HI, Nieces Kay “Bunny” Gilcrest, Marlene Kendall, Raven Warren, Nephews Charles Warren, Edwin “Man” Warren Jr, Jonathan Warren, Rasan Z. Warren (Kim), Ryen Warren, sisterfrie­nd Edith Laramore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church 735 E. State St. Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until time of service at the church. Interment Ewing Cemetery. Arrangemen­ts are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
