Robert W. Hedgpeth

Robert W. Hedgpeth, 63, exchanged time for eternity on Friday, January 5, 2018 peacefully at home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Trenton, Bobby attended Ewing Public Schools and graduated from Ewing High School, Class of 1973. He was a retired custodian from the Trenton Board of Education.

Bobby was predeceased by his mother and father, Sarah Davis and Chauncey P. Hedgpeth, Sr., his stepmother, Doris Hedgpeth and a brother, Chauncey (Chuckie) Hedgpeth, Jr. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 37 years, Barbara, four children, Tyra Brown, Adrienne Lee (Antwan), Valerie Hedgpeth and Tonya Hedgpeth-Jones (Isiah). Five grandchildren, Tyler Hammond, Sydney Hammond, Ian Murray, Kylie Lee and Brooklyn Jones. Two brothers, G. Wayne Hedgpeth (Kim) and Carl Davis (Carmen); four sisters, Estelle Cheatham (David); Althea Jones, Naomi Davis (Tony) and Angela Davis. One aunt, Georgia Parham (Pete); two sisters-in-law, Brenda Ganges (Laurence) and Joyce Spady (Gregory) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church, 111 Perry Street, Trenton, NJ. Rev. John R. Taylor officiating. Calling hours will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment Fountain Lawn Memorial Park Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
