Santilla (nee Picard) Bono passed away peacefully on March 28, 2018 at the Regina Nursing Center in Norristown. She was 101.

Born in Norristown on May 22, 1916, she was the loving wife of the late Russell P. Bono and the daughter of the late Salvatore and Caroline (Giannone) Picard.

Santa was a lifelong member of Holy Saviour Parish and a lifelong resident of Norristown. Her greatest joy was sharing time with her family. She enjoyed life to the fullest and inspired many with her wisdom and her positive outlook on life.

She is survived by her children; Vincent (Marie) Bono, Frances (Charles) McKeever, and Russell J. (Linda) Bono; 7 grandchild­ren, 16 great grandchild­ren, 2 great great granddaugh­ters, a sister, Ada Phillips and many nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her brothers; Charles, Ralph, Anthony and Alfonso Picard, and her sisters; Anna Falcone, Palma Bambi, Catherine Genuardi and Carmella Galanti.

Friends and relatives may call for her viewing on Monday, April 2 from 10:00 to 11:45 am at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St. Norristown, PA, 19401, followed by 12 noon Mass. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
