Wayne Cote

LOWELL - Wayne Cote, 57, of Lowell and El Paso, Texas passed away in his family’s home in Lowell on September 9, 2023.

Wayne was the middle son of Constance (Morneau) Cote and the late Ernest Cote, of Lowell. Wayne was the father of two beloved children, Emily and Jack. Wayne was also the brother of Lynn (Cote) Dowd of Lowell, Scott Cote of Tyngsboro and Mark Cote of Tyngsboro.

Wayne was born and raised in Lowell, where he attended Saint Michael School. He later graduated from Central Catholic High School. As a boy, he enjoyed time camping with his family and playing the guitar. He spent many weekends participating in activities at Saint Michael CYO. As an adult, Wayne graduated from the University of Lowell with a degree in Psychology and went to work as an EEG technician for Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. From his early days, Wayne developed a love of flying and was very proud when he eventually obtained his small aircraft pilot’s license. Wayne loved to travel, visiting a number of interesting places around the globe. He loved hosting social gatherings with his friends and siblings. Later in his life, Wayne moved to El Paso TX, where he married and became a devoted father to his two children. He enjoyed the time spent with his children, doing projects and various activities. He made many very close friends while living and working in the El Paso community. Wayne will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
