David Lee Kilgore left this world suddenly on Dec. 23, 2020, in the ICU of UAMS hospital in Little Rock at the age of 75.

David was born Aug. 4, 1945, to the late Willis and Violet Kilgore. He was a lifetime resident of Hot Springs and a 1963 graduate of Hot Springs High School. On Jan. 19, 1979, David married his love, Virginia Ann Dodd, who preceded him in death on Aug. 1, 2018.

David enjoyed family and friends and the beauty of God’s great outdoors. Walking with his dog “Happy” was one of his great pleasures. David was a loving son, husband, friend and stepfather. He was a member of Trinity Church in Hot Springs. David believed in a sure and certain resurrecti­on and that he would be reunited with his loved ones on that day. Romans 14:8, “For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.”

David is survived by his three stepchildr­en, William Lee Dodd, and his wife, Natasha, of Hot Springs, Lynn Einkauf of Katy, Texas, Vickie Ann Silvar and her husband, Joseph, of Hot Springs, eight stepgrandc­hildren, Matthew Dodd, Andrew Dodd, Casey Einkauf, Christian Silvar, Joshua Silvar, Isaiah Silvar, Josiah Silvar, Sarah Silvar; and one step-greatgrand­child, Vania Einkauf.

David will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Do not grieve, but rejoice! He has not left us, he has only gone into the next room, where we also shall join him one day.
