Daniel “Crazy Dan” Kimpton, age 50, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020.

He was born Aug. 15, 1970, in West Covina, Calif., to the late Michael Kimpton and Sharon Bouchard Kimpton.

Daniel is preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Kimpton.

Daniel was an entreprene­ur, he dreamed big and took risks to achieve his goals. This allowed him to master many things over the years. He worked as an auctioneer, automotive dealer, tow- truck driver and he also recovered vehicles. He took pride in his work, but his heart belonged to his family. He was an exceptiona­l husband, father and grandfathe­r. He was also admired by many for the passion he showed to others. Daniel will be fondly remembered for his humor and generosity.

Daniel leaves behind his wife, Karen Kimpton; four sons, William Kimpton (Katie), Daniel Kimpton Jr. (Esmeralda), Michael Kimpton ( Kindall) and Johnny Vasseau Jr. (Aquia); his grandson, William Kimpton Jr.; four granddaugh­ters, Addyline Golden, Aria Vasseau, Jonnie Vasseau and Sara Vasseau; and his brothers, sisters, family, friends and adopted kids.

Honorary pal lbearers: NPMC ICU nurse Cheri Coffman-Farmer, Jeff Lowder, Darrell Mahoney, Darius Melton, Ronnie Walker, Kevin Barber, Hoss Price and Joe Turner.

Memorial services will be held at Garland County Fairground­s, 4831 Malvern Ave., Hot Springs, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, for family, friends and the community.
