MALVERN — Fred Robert Ainsworth, 65, of Malvern, passed Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018.

Born Jan. 16, 1952, in Detroit, Mich., to Clifford Robert and Gloria Ruth (Adams) Ainsworth. He was a United States Army veteran and retired irrigation engineer.

Ruthell Prince

BISMARCK — Ruthell Prince, age 85, of Bismarck, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, in Hot Springs.

She was born March 8,

1932, at DeRoche Community, to the late Jesse D. and Adell Allen Ledbetter. Ruthell was a member of Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Hot Springs and a retired seamstress from Niehuss Garment Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Prince, on Jan. 19, 2014.

Survivors are three daughters, Linda Holt and husband, Ron, of Hot Springs, Kathy King and husband, Rod, of Bella Vista, and Becky Williams and husband, Scott, of Bismarck; eight grandchild­ren and 16 great-grandchild­ren.

Graveside services will at

3 p.m. today, Jan. 13, at Caney Cemetery with Chris Morrison officiatin­g. No formal visitation will be held.

Joanne Davis Reagler passed away Jan. 10, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David, and her parents, Nathan and Carrie (Karnofsky) Davis.

She is survived by her three children, Robin (Marcia), Rachel Reagler Schulman, David (Karen); one sister, Elise Davis Leviton (the late Leslie); and eight grandchild­ren.

She was born on Feb. 17, 1930, in New Iberia, La. She graduated from Louisiana State University cum laude with a sociology degree, and earned a master’s degree in psychiatri­c social work from Tulane University.

She married David Reagler on May 3, 1960, and moved to Wynne, Ark., where she lived and worked as a community activist for 46 years.

A four-time breast cancer survivor, Joanne led the Cross County chapter of the American Cancer Society for a number of years. During that time, the chapter won the top per capita giving award for the state.

Joanne owned and operated a successful retail business, Handy Dollar Store, with her husband David until her retirement in 1998. She was voted the Cross County Arkansas Citizen of the Year in 2005.

Joanne devoted tremendous energy to volunteer work after moving to Hot Springs. She led the Congregati­on House of Israel sisterhood chapter to national achievemen­t awards and also served on the synagogue board. She created and led Holocaust awareness programs in the community and schools. The Women of Reform Judaism awarded the sisterhood chapter the Or Ami Award in 2009. She was awarded the Jewish Federation of Arkansas 2011 Tikkun Olam Award.

A graveside service will be held at 11:45 a.m. Sunday at Jewish Rest Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the Congregati­on House of Israel.

Ronnie L. Robinson

Ronnie L. “Chopper” Robinson, 69, of Hot Springs, formerly of Sherrill, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018.

Born May 15, 1948, in Pine Bluff, Ark., he was the son of the late James I. and Frances Robinson.

Ronnie retired from Varco-Pruden as an estimator after

41 years of service. He enjoyed relaxing on the back deck, reading a great book and watching the Arkansas Razorbacks.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Susan Robinson.

He is survived by a brother, Steve Robinson and wife Debbie; nephew, Bradley Robinson and wife Brittney; niece, Leslie and husband Justin Hallum; great-nephew, Caleb Hillis; great-nieces, Emily and Annabeth Hallum and Carleigh Robinson; son, Micah Lock and wife Jessica; and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation services will be

5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Fuller Hale South Funeral Chapel.
