JESSIEVILLE — Virginia “Louise” Speers, 74, of Jessieville, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

Louise was born Oct. 17, 1942, at Perryville, Ark., to the late Hershel and Lillie (Wyles) Scroggins. She was a member of Jessieville Jesus Name Pentecostal Church.

Louise will be remembered as a loving grandmother, a hugger and her love for working in her flower beds.

She is preceded in death by her Husband of 55 years, Earl Speers; a son, David Earl Speers; and a great-grandchild, Drakelyn Avery Meredith.

Louise is survived by her children, Terry Speers (Phyllis), Jimmy Speers (Melissa) and Glenda Speers; nine grandchildren, David Speers, Issac Speers, Erica Alford, Drew Galloway, Tosha Meredith, Amanda Johnson, Whitney Livingston, Brittney McClard and Jessy Speers; 17 great-grandchildren, Drew Speers, Zack Speers, Peyton Alford, Caroline Alford, Camden Alford, Braxton Shifflett, Ireland Kane, Sage Kane, Macy Johnson, Jaden Johnson, Easton Johnson, Jaxon Livingston, Jessa Speers, Brooks McClard, Shania Speers, Aubrey Speers and Hanna Hawks; five sisters, Dorothy Shelton, Wanda Gibson, Linda Hall, Shirley Taylor, Brenda Belk; two brothers, Jerry Scroggins and Ricky Scroggins.

Pallbearers are David Speers, Issac Speers, Jessy Speers, Drew Speers, Braxton Shifflett and Drew Galloway. Honorary Pallbearers are her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Louise’s life will be 2 p.m. today at Caruth Village Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Glen Davis, Brother David Speers and Brother Ray Belk officiating.

Burial will follow at Graves/ Speers Cemetery.
