SCHUYLERVI­LLE Jeffrey L. Nevins, 57, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 23, 2017 in the company of his loving family.

Jeff was born May 25, 1960 in Cambridge, ork, the son of Joseph and Mabel Booth Nevins.

He grew up in the lerville area, graduating in 1978 from Schuylervi­lle Central School. Shortly ter graduation, Jeff began his life adventure by travcounts­outheling to Arizona where he spent the next 25 years. As an accomplish­ed mason, Jeff left his mark on less homes and businesses that grace the desert west. Upon returning to New York over a decade ago, Jeff was employed for many years by Spatial Dynamics in Mechanicvi­lle, NY.

In his spare time, Jeff joyed the beauty of nature and the great outdoors. He was a gifted gardener who lovingly nurtured the flowtalAri­zona ers and plants in his care. In addition, Jeff was a ented artist. His beautiful batik murals capture the true essence of wildlife and landscape. Jeff often took his creative abilwith ities to the kitchen where he prepared scrumptiou­s meals and desserts for his family. In his quiet hours, he enjoyed listening to jazz and spending time family and friends.

Jeff is predecease­d by his father, as well as grandMabel parents, Waldo and Orr Booth and Francis and Nina Harwood Nevins.

Left to cherish his ory are his mother Mabel; his daughter, Leah White (Spencer) and his new grandson, Johnathan MiNevchael White of Georgia; his sisters, JoAnn Poirier (David) and Susan Weils (James); brothers, Michael Nevins (Ellen), Keith ins and Steven Nevins. In addition, he is survived by several loving nieces, nephews, a great-niece and great nephew, and many cherished friends who will remember him always.

A graveside memorial will be held at 1pm Friday, October 27, 2017 at MapleSarat­oga wood Cemetery in Springs.
