BALLSTON SPA ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME: The Ballston Spa Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 6, from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the Ballston Spa High School auditorium, 220 Ballston Avenue. A reception will follow at the school. The BSAHF recognizes Ballston Spa alumni who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in the field of athletics. GALWAY PUBLIC LIBRARY: The Galway Public Library, 5264 Sacandaga Road, will hold Community Meetings to provide information to the Galway School District residents about the upcoming referendum for a new library building. The next meeting will be held at the Galway Town Hall on May 6 at 11 a.m. There will also be a public information meeting at the Library on June 7 at 7 p.m. to discuss the annual budget and the new building project. The project includes installing new benches around the lake, cutting invasive species, making planter boxes and planting flower beds at the beach, spreading wood chips at the playgrounds and trail cleanups.
