Brenda Mower of Hatfield

Brenda (Kniffin) Mower, 79, of Hatfield, PA, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville. She was the beloved wife of Marvin Mower to whom she was married for 59 years.

Born July 19, 1939, in Plattsburg, NY, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Lena (Barrett) Kniffin.

Mrs. Mower was a longtime member of Wentz’s U.C.C.

She was employed for many years as a secretary for the North Penn School District.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed baking, crafting, beachcombing, bird watching and visiting with family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Bill Mower and his wife, Donna of Hatfield, Deborah Mower of Collegeville; her sister Carolyn Crowell of Wallkill, NY; her grandchildren Randy, Chris, Jessica, and Mason; and her great-grandchildren, Dylan, Owen, and Nolan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11:30 Am on Friday, August 24, 2018, at Wentz’s United Church of Christ, 3246 Skippack Pike Lansdale, PA 19446, where friends may greet the family from 10:30-11:15 AM.
