⏩ The Lou down: Katie Lou Samuelson wants to play in UConn’s regular-season finale. But, will her body allow it?

The All-American guard’s status is uncertain after she left Saturday’s win over Houston with back spasms.

“It all depends on how I feel (Sunday),” Samuelson said after playing just 17 minutes on Senior Day. “I don’t know how I’m going to feel tomorrow. It could be a lot better or it could be worse — hopefully not.”

Samuelson collided with an opposing player while diving for a loose ball late in the first half and immediately felt her right lower back lock up. She tried to give it a go in the second half but lasted only 82 seconds.

“Lou thought she could give it a shot in the second half and obviously she couldn’t,” UConn coach Geno Auriemma said. “We’ll see tomorrow how she feels, and we’ll see Monday how she feels, and we’ll go from there.”

The senior finished with 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting.

⏩ Worth watching: The second NCAA top-16 reveal will be announced at halftime on ESPN2.

UConn was given a No. 2 seed in the Albany (N.Y.) Regional in the first reveal on Feb. 11, however three of the teams seeded ahead of the Huskies that night (Louisville, Oregon and Mississippi State) have since lost.
