Ann Kathryn Jacon Conroy, 95, of Troy, passed into eternal rest on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center, surrounded by her loving family. Ann was predecease­d by her beloved husband of 71 years, John L Conroy; and her precious daughter Patricia English. She is survived by her devoted family, including her son, Jack (Terry) Conroy of Clifton Park; her grandchild­ren, Michael English of Albany, Mark English of Rotterdam, Laura (Mike) Foster of Rotterdam, Brian Conroy (Elizabeth Ives) of Colonie, and Sean Conroy of Clifton Park; her great-grandchild, Lillian Foster of Rotterdam; her son-in-law Ed English of Rotterdam; her sister, Theresa (Bill) O’Connor of Troy; and her brother, John (Jean) Jacon of Averill Park. Ann was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Rutkowski) Jacon. She is also predecease­d by her siblings, Mary (Matt) Pochman, Toni (Gus) Argay, Helen Jacon, Jane (John) Granato, Sophie Jacon, Joseph (June) Jacon and Tom (Dolores) Jacon. She is also survived by over 40 nieces and nephews, taking great pride in rememberin­g the name and approximat­e age of everyone. The funeral service for Ann will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. from the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. A special thanks to the staff at Kingsway Manor and Kingsway Arms Nursing Center for their devoted and caring service.
