Missing teens found: deputies
CORINTH, N.Y. >> A pair of teens reported missing earlier this week have been found, Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies said.
The teens — 13-year- old Grace Breheny of Corinth and 15- year- old Phillip Reynolds of Watervliet — were located shortly after 11 a. m. Friday. Deputies said they went to Gabriel Road and detained the pair, before they were turned over to their respective parents.
The teens were unharmed, deputies said.
The pair were reported missing Wednesday.
Deputies said Breheny was reported missing by her family, while Reynolds, her boyfriend, was reported missing to police in his hometown.
Deputies previously said they believe Reynolds travelled to Corinth by taxi and met up with Breheny early Wednesday morning.
Deputies had searched a wooded area along Angel Road in the town of Corinth Wednesday night and into Thursday, with assistance from many other law enforcement agencies.
“We are very pleased with the positive outcome of this investigation,” Saratoga County Sheriff Michael H. Zurlo said in a news release. “The combined efforts of federal, state, county and local agencies during this investigation is a testament to strong relationship we enjoy with all of our partners in law enforcement, public safety and our communities.”
Due to the age of the persons involved there will be no further comments on the investigation at this time, deputies said.
