TROY - Marion V. Field, 75, resident of 2 WashingDeC­enHigh ton Place, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late James G. Church and Celia Maria Church and was a graduate of Catholic tral School.

Marion was a long time proprietor of the Dorian Beauty Salon, which she started with her sister Anna Vogt-Church. Later in life, Marion was a sucTroy cessful realtor and most recently worked for HEER Realty in Troy.

Marion was very proud of her family’s Italian heritage as she pioneered the Little Italy associatio­n. One of her great passions was raising funds for variBingo ous community projects by coordinati­ng games at the Atrium’s Green.

She was a communican­t of St. Anthony of Padua Shrine Church in Troy.

Her family and friends served as a great source of happiness to her, none more so than her grandchilG­reenGreena­nd dren. Survivors include a son, Fred (Theresa Kegley) Cietek of Middletown, CT, loving sister Anna Church of North bush, grandchild­ren Alyssa Kegley, Drew and Cameron Cietek, and aunt Elizabeth DeMaria of North bush. She is also survived by several nieces nephews. Marion was preJr. deceased by her brother James G. Church

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18 at 9:15 am from the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, corner of 115th Street and 4th Avenue in Lansingof burgh, and 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Shrine Church, 28 State Street, Troy where the Mass Christian Burial will ofbe fered.

Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 17 from 4 to 7 pm at John J. SanLandesi­ring vidge Funeralu Home, singburgh.Those
