THURSDAY, JUNE 27

• There will be a blood drive at the Plymouth Fire Department, located at 111 N. Center St. in Plymouth from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Blood and Power Red donations are being taken. Blood is the most common type of donation, during which approximat­ely a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour. A Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibilit­y requiremen­ts and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O Blood. To reserve your spot, visit www.redcrossbl­ood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800733-2767).

• From 9:30 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 27 the Bremen Public Library will host their Land. Sea. Air. How Do I Get There? program. This program is geared towards kids ages 2-5. The program features stories, rhymes, crafts and other activities.

• Passport to adventure at the Bremen Public Library will meet from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 27. Children entering grades 1-5 are invited to join for crafts, snacks and activities as they travel through books this summer.

• Anime-tion Club at the Bremen Public Library will run from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 27. Students in grades 6-12 are invited to watch a selected animated series followed by a discussion.

• Art and Story time at the Heartland Art Center will be held on Thursday, June 27 from 10 to 11 a.m. Ms. Liz from the PPL will lead a fun free art class that features a story time. Kids who take part will be creating a process mural. Kids will paint and glue with mixed media onto big sheets of paper. These will then be pieced together to make a giant mural. The class is geared for toddlers and preschoole­rs but older siblings can join in.

FRIDAY, JUNE 28

• Book Babies at the Bremen Public Library will run from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Babies ages 24 months and younger can enjoy books, songs and rhymes. There is a play time following the class.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

• Saturday at the Plymouth Public Library will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. In honor of Adopt-a-cat Month the PPL invites everyone to meows into the library for a story and craft time. Cats from the Marshall County Humane Society will be at the PPL. Donations to the MCHS can be made during the event.

• The Bremen Public Library will be hosting a puzzle exchange from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. People can bring their puzzles, enjoy refreshmen­ts and connect with other local puzzle lovers.
