Driver hits pedestrian, 5 vehicles and carts
Authorities say a 73-yearold man critically injured a pedestrian while running into five vehicles and some shopping carts in a grocery store parking lot.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Angel Rios Ruiz apparently meant to drive forward as he was leaving the parking lot on Monday. Instead, he put the car in reverse, hitting a vehicle. Then he moved forward and hit the other cars and carts and a 52-year-old woman.
