St. Andrew’s guard Anthony Polite was named PBgametime boys Player of the Week for his performanc­e on the basketball court last week.

Polite, a junior, averaged 22.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals to lead the Scots to wins over American Heritage, Coconut Creek-North Broward Prep and Santaluces.

For the season, Polite is averaging 21.3 points and 8.7 rebounds. He eclipsed the 1,000-point career scoring mark in a win over Miami-Gulliver Prep Dec. 5. The No. 4-ranked Scots are 10-0.

Oxbridge Academy soccer forward Allison Breed earned PBgametime girls Player of the Week honors for helping lead the ThunderWol­ves past unbeaten Martin County on Friday night.

The sophomore scored both goals in Oxbridge’s 2-0 victory against the Tigers. Breed has 12 goals and two assists in eight games for No. 1-ranked Oxbridge, which is 6-0-3 on the season.
