The CNY Veterans Outreach Center was formed to provide and conduct charitable educational, social, and housing services for veterans and their families in need. The Veterans Outreach Center was developed by an Iraqi War veteran who realized there was a lack of services for veterans in Upstate New York. The center serves on average 300 veterans and their families a month. Other services available at the center include: food pantry, access to clothing and household items, outreach, internet access, advocacy and connection to VA benefits. The American Legion Auxiliary William Russell Post 404 will meet at 6:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at the legion home, West Seneca Street. The Sons of Post 404 will meet at the Legion at 6:30 p.m. every second Monday of the month. The Legion Veterans will meet at Post 404 at 6:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month.
