College Acceptances
Joshua P. Miller graduated from Seton High School in Manassas, Va. on June 5, 2017. While attending Seton, Miller served as president of the student government, captain of the varsity swim team and captain of the competitive robotics club. Miller has accepted an appointment to attend the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. He is the son of Paul and Andrea Miller of Virginia, and the grandson of Farrell and Margaret Miller of Oneida.
Saulo Ferreira of Chittenango, son of Julie Ferreira and Marcelo Ferreira, has enrolled for the 20172018 academic year at Rochester Institute of Technology. Saulo is in the software engineering - BS programin RIT’s B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. Ferreira is a 2017 graduate of Cazenovia High School.
The following students will attend Clarkson University as members of the Class of 2021 and will begin studying at Clarkson in the fall:
Michael K. Culkin of Chittenango, a graduate of Chittenango Senior High School will be majoring in engineering studies.
Carli P. Cunningham of Cazenovia, a graduate of Cazenovia Central High School will be majoring in engineering and management.
Jared A. George of Oneida, a graduate of Oneida High School will be majoring in engineering and management.
Connor Haugli of Morrisville, a graduate of Morrisville Eaton Middle High School will be majoring in engineering studies.
Lauren Howard of Cazenovia, a graduate of Cazenovia Central High School will be majoring in environmental engineering.
William Kmetz of Cazenovia, a graduate of Cazenovia Central High School will be majoring in environmental engineering.
Cooper S. Koehl of Morrisville, a graduate of Mor- risville Eaton Middle High School will be majoring in civil engineering.
Olivia A. Marshall of Munnsville, a graduate of Stockbridge Valley Central School will be majoring in chemical engineering.
Ryan M. Marshall of Cazenovia, a graduate of Cazenovia Central High School will be majoring in chemical engineering.
Cody Tannahill of Canastota, a graduate of Canastota High School will be majoring in civil engineering.
Kelli Whitmeyer of Canastota, a graduate of Canastota High School will be majoring in mechanical engineering.
McKenzie Happle is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. He is the son of George and Linda Happle of Oneida.
Happle has been accepted at and will attend Mohawk Valley Community College, where he will major in networking fundamentals.
While attending OHS, Happle participated in Boy Scouts.
Julianne Elizabeth Emerson is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. She is the daughter of Jaime and Mishelle Miller of Oneida and Douglas Emerson of Chittenango.
Emerson has been accepted at Mohawk Valley Community College, SUNY Cortland and Utica College. She will attend Utica College to major in business.
While attending OHS, Emerson was a three sport athlete with track, cheerleading and dance team. She broke the OHS record for the 100 meter and currently holds the record as 7th overall State qualifier in the 100 meter dash.
Tanner James Williams is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. He is the son of Bridget and Hal Williams of Oneida.
Williams has been accepted at SUNY Oswego, Niagara University, LeMoyne College, St. Bonaventure University and the University of New Hampshire. He will attend University of New Hampshire to study business administration.
While attending OHS, Williams participated in National Honor Society, FBLA, and varsity football, basketbal l and baseball.
Elijah Scuderi is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. He is the son of Royale and Anthony Scuderi of Oneida.
Scuderi has been ac- cepted at SUNY Buffalo and Rochester Institute of Technology.
He will attend the University at Buffalo and major in aerospace engineering.
While attending OHS, Scuderi participated in varsity soccer and track, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band and National Honor Society.
Alexander J. Hawthorne is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. He is the son of Justin and Christine Hawthorne of Oneida.
Haw - thorne has been accepted at SUNY Oswego, SUNY Brockport , Le Moy ne College and Utica College. He will attend SUNY Oswego to major in secondary education/social studies.
While attending OHS, Hawthorne participated in basketball, Future Business Leaders of America, Youth Court, Success Summit, Student Council and Wind Ensemble.
