Bible study series begins Sunday
ONEIDA CASTLE >> The Three Voices Presbyterian congregations will start a new Bible study series beginning Sunday, Jan. 8 at 8:45 a.m. at Cochran Memorial Presbyterian Church.
The series, entitled “A Different Kind of Christmas,” is a practical and inspirational study that the church will undertake post-Christmas this year. Based on Mike Slaughter’s popular book, “Christmas Is Not Your Birthday,” this comprehensive study will empower participants to reclaim the broader meaning of Jesus’ birth and experience more peace and joy into the New Year.
Sessions include: Expect a Miracle, Giving Up on Perfect, Scandalous Love, Jesus’ Wish List, and By a Different Road.
This six-week study aims to help participants see the call of God to live generously to fulfill God’s mission in the world.
Through interaction with God’s word and one another, The Three Voices offers a relaxing place to connect with other believers in fellowship and to grow in understanding of the Bible.
Sessions are held before worship services.
The public is invited into any of these discussions.
