Cassy Sharee Hughes

BETHANY - Cassy Sharee Hughes, age 38, died peacefully Friday, July 16, 2021, as she was surrounded by her family and friends in her home in Bethany, OK after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Cassy was fierce, young, healthy, and active. She was a strong woman who loved her family. She was funny and had a great laugh. She was absolutely beautiful inside and out. She was an amazing mother. She taught her boys to be respectful and how to use manners. She was a perfect boy mom. She was supportive and involved in everything they did. Cassy was real. She was raw and she didn’t sugar coat much. She knew a long time ago she was dying but refused to give up. If you know Cassy you know she was a fighter, never wanted pity, and always remained strong.

Cassy was born September 1, 1982, to BJ Krivoniak. Cassy was raised in Edmond, OK by her mother, BJ & her dad, Warren Krivoniak. She was a graduate of Edmond North high school. In 2004, Cassy was married to Jeremy Ray Hughes who was her partner in life for 17 years and together they have 2 incredible boys, Jordan, 15, and Josiah, 11, who she loved more than life and was always their biggest fan!

Cassy is survived by her husband, Jeremy and their sons, Jordan and Josiah; her parents, BJ and Warren Krivoniak; as well as many brothers, sisters, in-laws, and an army of nieces and nephews who will always hold “Aunt Cassy” in their hearts.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 2:00pm Monday, July 26th at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, OK. Service will be live streamed through the Mercer-Adams website, www.mercer-adams. com
