Bethany cruises to win over Chisholm
Sam Brandt scored three touchdowns as Bethany cruised to a 40-6 victory over Chisholm on Friday night. Brandt got Bethany on the scoreboard with a 28-yard run in the first quarter before throwing a 43-yard touchdown pass to Jackson Howard.
With a 27-0 lead entering the second half, Bethany extended its lead after Brandt connected with Lawson Stout for a 19-yard touchdown. Jacob Kyle also had a big game for Bethany with touchdown runs of 31 and 24 yards.
Mount St. Mary tops Crooked Oak
Kaysen Fisher ran for 172 yards and four touchdowns as Mount St. Mary defeated Crooked Oak 32-8.
Mount St. Mary was dominant defensively, allowing just 115 yards of total offense.
Bishop McGuinness edges Tulsa Kelley
Dominic Richardson finished with three touchdowns to lead Bishop McGuinness to a 24-21 overtime win against Tulsa Kelley.
Richardson, who finished with 134 rushing yards on 26 carries, returned the opening kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.
In the third quarter, he ran for a 66-yard score before throwing a 31-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Knight out of the wildcat formation to take a 21-14 lead.
Tulsa Kelley’s Philip Woolslayer had a 19-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to force the game into overtime. Zach Schmit won the game with a 23-yard field goal.
Perkins blanks Cushing
A strong defensive performance by Perkins led to a convincing 23-0 win over Cushing.
Perkins allowed just 221 yards of total offense and forced four turnovers. Austin Mages had two touchdowns in the second half for Perkins. He caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Colby Anderson in the third quarter and scored again in the fourth on a 1-yard run.
