Norman road projects continue
NORMAN — The south half of the McGee Drive and W Lindsey Street intersection has reopened. As construction continues on the Lindsey Street widening project, the south half of Berry Road at W Lindsey and the south half of Wiley Road at W Lindsey will close. Both intersections are expected to be reopened to through traffic in early September. Signs will be in place at each closure to direct motorists. Enid venue to host outdoor expo
ENID — The Sportsman’s and Outdoor Expo is set for Saturday and Sunday at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center. The expo is filled with vendor products and information, educational activities and friendly competitions for hunters, gamers and outdoors lovers. Activities include archery, hunter education, hands-on children’s activities and paintball. The Chisholm Trail Expo Center is at 111 W Purdue Ave. Admission is free and the hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 580-237-1390.
Library sets eclipse party
MUSTANG — A solar eclipse viewing party will be from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Mustang Library. It is a come-and-go event for all ages, and solar eclipse viewing glasses will be available on a firstcome, first-served basis.
