Halstead Connecticut agents named to America’s Best Real Estate list by Real Trends
Halstead, a leading residential real estate brokerage firm in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, recently announced that 37 of its agents, seven of whom are from Connecticut, were named to the 2019 REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Professionals list, a prestigious awards ranking produced by REAL Trends and Tom Ferry International. The list ranks the most productive agents by state based on closed transaction sides and closed sales volume.

REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Professionals ranks nearly 14,000 residential real estate associates from every state. To qualify for inclusion in the ranking, agents must have closed at least 50 transactions or $20 million in closed sales volume in 2018. Teams must have closed 75 transaction sides or $30 million in closed sales volume in 2018.
William PittJulia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty announced recently that 23 agents and one team were ranked in the 2019 REAL Trends list of “America’s Best” real estate professionals.
REAL Trends, one of the most trusted sources of news, analysis and information in residential real estate, partnered with real estate training company Tom Ferry International to release this year’s ranking of top performing agents in each state.
The list’s four categories include individuals by transaction sides, individual by sales volume, teams by transaction sides and teams by sales volume. To qualify, agents had to close at least 50 transaction sides or $20 million in sales vol
ume, and teams had to close at least 75 transaction sides or $30 million in volume. The ranking is based on performance in 2018. According to REAL Trends, agents named to the list represent less than 1.5 percent of all Realtors in the nation.
In the individuals by volume category, 10 agents in New York and 9 in Connecticut were honored. The Connecticut agents included Ed Villeda of Stamford, Laura Freed Ancona of Ridgefield, Cyd Hamer of Westport, Lorraine Amaral of Northern Fairfield, Margaret Muir of Madison, Bruce Baker of Darien, Ira Goldspiel of Kent, Rick Weiner of Essex, and Jules GaughranEtes of Guilford.
In the teams by volume category for Connecticut, the Sneddon Team of New Canaan ranked.
In the individual transaction sides category, three agents from Connecticut and one from New York were recognized. The Connecticut agents included Ed Villeda of Stamford, Northern Fairfield agent Lorraine Amaral, and Guilford agent Jules GaughranEtes.
