Easy, touchless Sapore take-out makes ideal dinner

Loretta Paganini’s weekly togo meals from her Sapore Restaurant in Chester Township make an ideal choice for Labor

Day Weekend. And she’s extended the customary noon Wednesday deadline by a day, to noon Sept. 2, to make it easier for NewsHerald readers.

The yummy homemade meals come fully packaged with complete instructio­ns for reheating and are delivered to the trunk of your car between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sept. 4.

Those who have ordered pull into the driveway between the Loretta Paganini School of Cooking and Sapore Restaurant (8623 Mayfield Road) and call 440-729-1110 to let them know you’ve arrived.

Pop your trunk and you’ll be on your way in no time at all because everything will have been prepaid.

Cocktails to go (two for $20) are available, as are wines for an extra charge. Ask about it when you call to order.

Here’s what’s on the menu for dinner:

• Menu 1 ($35, feeds one) Pita Bread with Roasted Red Pepper Hummus; Lemon and Herb Couscous Salad with Kalamata Olives, Red Onion, Chickpeas and Zucchini; Barbeque Roasted Chicken with Smashed Potato Salad and Corn on the Cob; Peach and Blackberry Crisp.

• Menu 2 ($35, feeds two): Pork Tenderloin Cutlet Milanese with Mashed Potatoes and Arugula Cherry Tomato Salad with Balsamic Glaze.

• Menu 3 ($45, feeds two): Pan Seared Striped Bass with Gremolata Sauce; Corn Risotto; and Summer Vegetables.

• Menu 4 ($35, feeds two): Homemade Pici Pasta with Tuscan Mushroom and Sausage Cream Sauce and Pecorino Cheese.

• Menu 5 ($55, feeds two): Grilled Beef Tenderloin Medallions with Demi -Glacé; Mashed Potatoes; and Sautéed Asparagus

Extras available include Warm Pita with Hummus, $5; Sausage Stuffed Sweet Peppers with Tomato Sauce and Mozzarella, $6; Slab Smoked St. Louis Style Spareribs with Balsamic Barbeque Sauce, $45; 1 quart Lobster Bisque Soup, $12; Burrata Salad with Tomato and Arugula, $12; 1 quart Tomato Sauce, $12; Individual Chocolate Cake, $6; and Plum Almond Upside Down Cake, $6.
