To be eligible for Dean’s List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no grade below a B.
Students help stage ‘Our Town’
Students from the area were part of a talented cast and crew from Baldwin Wallace University that staged Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” during the fall 2017 semester.
The following local students were in the production:
• Tyler Collins of Painesville, a graduate of Lake Catholic High School majoring in theatre acting and directing, served as assistant director and played the parts of Man in the Auditorium and Joe Stoddard.
• Grant Strlich-Waybright of Chardon, a graduate of Ohio Connections Academy majoring in acting, played the part of Howie Newsome.
Perry resident named to dean’s list
The University of Rhode Island announced that 5,500 undergraduates have qualified for the fall 2017 dean’s list. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and nations.
Kathleen Leiden of Perry, was named.
To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. The list includes students who have not yet declared their majors as well as those from all of the University’s undergraduate colleges.
