Ability Works places talent show online

A fundraiser talent show for Ability Works is going virtual and includes an online raffle, according to a news release.

Show entrance is free, and raffle tickets can be purchased online now through the first half of the show, the release said.

Watch the talent show from 6-8 p.m., March 2, on Zoom or YouTube Live.

The raffle basket items will include:

• An Elegant Evening basket with a one-night stay at Graham’s Crossing Bed and Breakfast; a $50 gift certificate to the Press Box; and a bottle of red wine and snacks the night of your stay.

• Sandusky .5K Gift bag full of fun donut-themed goodies such as a coffee mug, a face mask and donut molds.

• Quick Eats basket full of gift cards and vouchers for Sandusky restaurants.

• A Night Out basket has a variety of gift cards for Sandusky restaurants.

• Italian dinners baskets have gift cards for Sandusky Italian restaurants.

All proceeds for this event will go to the upgrading of all Ability Works technology to better serve their clients, the release said.

This will include purchasing smart TVs/smart boards, upgrading computers, new tablets for documentation, technology for virtual services, computers clients can use and more.

Talent sign ups are open through March 19, the release said.

For over 45 years Ability Works has worked to find ways people with disabilities can participate in everyday activities and all aspects of the community, according to the release.
