CREWS STAGE FEST
Annual Community Days festival and carnival is July 25-29 in Sheffield Lake
Sheffield Lake Community Days carnival is making its way back July 25-29 to Shoreway Shopping Center.
Rides and stands are parked in the lot of the carnival site on the corner of Lake Road and Lake Breeze.
Staff of the city’s Service Department were preparing the stage and tents July 23 for the bands and guests.
The annual celebration featuring a parade and fireworks has been held for over 50 years.
This year’s event is two weeks later than usual because longtime rides partner Kissel Bros. went out of business, according to a Morning Journal report in January.

This year, tickets for rides are being sold in advance at Apples grocery store, 4100 Ivanhoe Ave., at discounted prices, according to store associates.
Apples is selling all-youcan-ride wristbands for $17 and 20 ticket sheets for $20.
Tickets will be sold at the carnival site, but at regular prices, according to the event’s Facebook Page.
Wristbands are $20 and sheets of tickets are $26.
Prices of tickets at Apples will increase to regular carnival prices the day of the fair, associates said.
Apples is including one blue raffle ticket with a purchase of tickets or wristband for a chance to win a bicycle.
Community Days hours are 6-11 p.m. July 25-27; and 4-11 p.m. July 28 and 29.
The parade is July 26 and fireworks July 27.
In case of rain, the fireworks will occur July 28.
