Home Goods to open new store on April 23 in Avon

The new 26,000-square-foot location will officially open its doors at 8 a.m. April 23.

A new HomeGoods store is coming to Avon Commons at 35894 Detroit Road April 23.

The new 26,000-squarefoot location, which will be the chain’s sixth location in the greater Cleveland area, will officially open its doors at 8 a.m. April 23.

In bringing HomeGoods to Avon, president John Ricciuti hopes to continue providing the staples that give customers a chance to truly customize their home décor with a large selection of offerings at affordable prices.

“Our high quality merchandise at incredible prices allows shoppers to express themselves through their décor and create a home that truly reflects who they are for less than they expect. We are thrilled to provide Avon shoppers with this exhilarating shopping experience,” Ricciuti said in a news release.

The new location is expected to add 65 full- and part-time jobs to the area including store management and associates, according to the release.

HomeGoods has more than 570 locations across the country and is the leading provider of offprice retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S.

HomeGoods at Avon Commons will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
