Shirley M. (Stocker) Snoddy

Shirley M. (Stocker) Snoddy, 86, of Macungie, PA passed away Saturday,

July 10th, after a series of injuries and illnesses. Shirley was born in

Bangor, PA on March 21, 1935, a daughter of the late Cynthia (Biller) and Elwood Franklin Stocker. She was the loving wife for 64 years of the late Marvin T. Snoddy. who passed away in 2019., and devoted mother of sons F. Thomas and Paul D. Snoddy. She was a 1952 graduate of Bangor High

School. She had been employed by K-Mart and Divine Providence Hospital while living in Williamsport,

PA. Shirley enjoyed many activities including family gatherings, cooking, baking, knitting, and ceramics. She volunteered with delivery for Meals on Wheels upon relocating back to Allentown, PA. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd Alburtis, PA. Shirley is survived by two sons F. Thomas Snoddy and his companion Jean Detrick, and Paul D Snoddy, husband of Barbara, a brother, Charles Stocker, husband of

Kay (Smale). a sister-in-law: Grace (Teel) Stocker, 4 grandchildren Stacey Huff wife of Michael, Kyle, Timothy, and Sean Snoddy, 3 great-grandchildren Austin Theodoroff, Tristan, and Cassidy Huff. and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Theodore and Elwood Stocker, and a foster brother

Mert Schmauder. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 16th at James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 200 S. Robinson Ave. Pen Argyl, PA.
