Harry Gilbert Kalb

Harry Gilbert Kalb, 87, of Macungie, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 in his daughter's home. He was the husband of the late Elsie (Reichl) Kalb and the late Verna Reichl-Kalb. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harry and Florence (Ibach) Kalb. Harry was a graduate of Allentown H.S. and was a foundry worker for General Electric/Black & Decker for 30 years before retiring in 1986. Mr. Kalb was an Airman First Class with the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member the Church of St. Ann in Emmaus. Harry was an avid Phillies fan and was a life-long hunter, fisherman, gardener and outdoorsman.

Survivors: Daughter: Melissa Yanchuck and her husband Joseph of Lancaster; Sons: Michael Kalb and his wife Deb of Emmaus, David Kalb and his wife Beth of Olympia, WA; Loving Companion: Barbara Novak of Allentown; Sister: Sue Germani and her husband Anthony of Allentown; Stepsons: Charles Reichl and his wife Mia of New Milford, CT, George Reichl, Jr. and his wife Coral of Mullica Hill, NJ, Daniel Reichl and his wife Stacey of Oakland, CA; Stepdaughter: Tamara Dolan and her husband Ron in FL; Grandchildren: Jacqueline Yanchuck, Emily Yanchuck, Audrey Kalb, Shane Kalb, Amelie Swann, Nathalie Swann, Jared Reichl, Jake

Reichl, Joe Reichl, Charles Reichl, Irene Reichl. Harry is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.

Services: Funeral Mass at 10:30 am Saturday, Church of St. Ann, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus 18049. Call 9:30 – 10:30 am Saturday in the church.
