Native business professional
Carol A. Cusano’s long-standing record of success in the real estate profession stems from her strong belief in always being prepared to accomplish anything in life.
It is this philosophy that has guided Cusano through her chosen career paths in business; from her work in mortgage banking, to her years as a real estate paralegal for a prominent New Haven law firm.
In 2003, Cusano decided to pursue a career in real estate and became a licensed sales agent. With the goal of fulfilling the needs of clients in the greater New Haven and shoreline areas, Cusano then joined forces with her husband Nick to form the Shoreline Real Estate Team.
“Our business backgrounds and experience enables us to be more than just two Realtors,” Cusano said. “Real estate is more than showing houses. It’s a business transaction and the more we know, the better we can counsel our clients.”
Cusano explained that a vitally important part of the pair’s business partnership is their combined arsenal of customized marketing tools and strategies, along with their website, www.shorelinerealestateteam.com. The site contains a blog, along with helpful advice for today’s buyers and sellers.
“The real estate industry is growing with giant leaps into the world of internet marketing,” Cusano noted. “We continue to learn and use technology to enhance our business and move our business plan forward.”
As a lifelong area resident, Cusano has exceptional knowledge of the region and has been actively involved in the community for many years. She is currently serving her tenth year as a member of the Town of Guilford’s Board of Assessment Appeals and has previously volunteered in various capacities with the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce.
Cusano also enjoys the opportunity to service her clients and to form strong business relationships throughout the buying or selling process.
“I get great pride and feel so good when I place a buyer in their new home, and then I meet them in the grocery store and they tell me how much they love their house and their new town,” she explained.
