Eastwood Summer Classic Car Show & Community Day Rolls in July 31
POTTSTOWN >> Engines will roar into Pottstown as hundreds of collector cars come out for the 2021 Eastwood Summer Classic Car Show & Community Day, on Saturday, July 31.
The Summer Classic, now in its 10th year, is hosted by Pottstown-headquartered automotive tool company, Eastwood. What started as a car show to celebrate Eastwood’s local customers and their vehicles, has grown into one of the largest events in the region, drawing vehicles from all over the east coast.
The Summer Classic is free for spectators to attend, and only $5 to enter your vehicle. There will be top-20 awards given out.
“The Summer Classic’s success over the years has been due to the community involvement,” said Ed Martel, Eastwood’s senior director of retail. “Whether you have a classic car or are just looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon, this year’s event will offer fun for the whole family.”
The car show kicks off at 7:30 am and runs until 2:30 pm. In addition, Eastwood’s product development and tech team will be available to answer any of your automotive questions. There will also be live music by Second Time Thru, good food, and tons of deals on Eastwood products.
“With being unable to host the Summer Classic last year due to COVID, we expect a large turnout of cars, trucks, and motorcycles to attend this year,” Martel said. “We have increased the number of goodie bags given out to the first 500 cars. To kick off the Summer Classic, Friday night at 8:45 pm (weather permitting), we will also be hosting a free showing of the automotive cult-classic movie ‘American Graffiti.’ Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.”
The Summer Classic will be hosted at Eastwood’s headquarters at 263 Shoemaker Road, Pottstown, PA, 19464.
