Shirley J. Cox

Shirley J. Cox, 78, lifelong resident of Collegeville, PA, passed away on December 31, 2020.

She was a devoted parishioner of St. Eleanor’s RC Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and founded the Rose for Life Program. Shirley worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at various nursing homes, most recently St. Mary Manor of Lansdale.

Predeceased by her mother, Josephine (Leskuski) Schroeder and her step father, Fulton Schroeder.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert E. Cox, Jr.; son, Matthew (& Victoria) Cox; brother, Barry Schroeder; and granddaughter, Madeline Cox. She is also survived by a cousin, Walter Leskuski, Jr., and brother-in-law, Ronald (& Lynn) Cox.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:30 AM in St. Eleanor’s RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.
