Pottstown — The annual Holiday Craft Show and Bazaar is Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM for handmade crafts (~ 40 vendors), lunch and baked goods. Attic Treasures will be downstairs from 8 AM to 12 PM. First UCC

Bethel Community Church

Pottstown — Saturday at 5:00 PM, it’s a “Gospel Explosion” featuring “Zion Baptist Choir” of Ardmore, BCCP Praise Power Choir, Sister Arnetta Morgan, Minister Robert Autry, Brother Harold Thompson, Sister Barbara Henley, Brother Hezekiah and Sister Gwen Hill. Zion’s UCC

Pottstown — Pastor Austin Chinault returns to the pulpit at Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets, for the 10:15 am worship service. It is first Sunday communion and Memorial Sunday. Pastor Chinault will remember the members of the congregation who passed this year. Families will place remembrances in the Book of Golden Memories. Music Director Keith Clattenburg will lead the Handbells in “Amazing Grace” arranged by Ed Harris. Zion’s Quilters have 4 wall hangings and 2 crib quilts for sale donated and handcrafted for the benefit of the church’s new slate roof. Pictures of these are in the Sunday School building. During the holidays the Cluster will prepare 100 food boxes. Zion’s share will be 100 cans of cranberry sauce. Wednesday’s activities include Quilters, The Wednesday Crew, Pizza and Ping Pong at 5:30 pm, Handbell Rehearsal at 6:30 pm and Choir Rehearsal at 7:30 pm. Opportunities include sharing sewing talents, keeping the church and Sunday School in tip-top shape, enjoying music talents and making new friends.

St. John’s UCC

Pottstown — St. John’s UCC, 11 S. Price St., will be holding a Fall cleanup Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM. Helping hands for jobs inside and outside are needed. Members are collecting food for Operation 143 (formerly Operation BackPack) along with stuffing for the Cluster Holiday baskets. The HandBell choir has begun practicing on Sundays under the direction of Erica Moyer. All are welcome ... no previous music experience needed!

St. Peter’s Lutheran

Pottstown — St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 564 Glasgow St. All Saints Sunday will be celebrated with the administration of Holy Communion at the 8 and 10:30 am worship services and the remembrance of the faithful departed since All Saints Sunday last year. Adults and Youth are encouraged to attend the newly formed Pastor’s 6-week Study on the Ten Commandments beginning Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 10:10 p.m. The Lutheran Church Women (LCW) meeting will be held at 7 pm to finalize plans for the Nov. 16 Annual Church Bazaar.

Trinity UCC

Pottstown — Members and friends of Trinity UCC, 60 N. Hanover St., will celebrate Holy Communion this Sunday. Confirmation class and Adult Sunday School will begin at 8:30 AM, with morning worship to follow at 9:30 AM. After the “Children’s Message,” the boys and girls will leave to attend Sunday School. Brownback’s UCC

In observance of All Saints Day, candles will be lit during the service in memory of friends or family members who have died. Bible study is held at the church on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 AM. St. Paul’s UCC

Pottstown — St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 927 N. Franklin St., will be holding and All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 8-11 a.m. Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, beverage, and baked goodies. Barto — We invite you to worship with us on this All Saint’s Sunday on Sunday, Nov. 3, at our morning worship service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Pr. Ann Baly, Bridge Pastor, will lead the congregation in Holy Communion worship service; present the sermon for the morning as well as the Children’s Sermon. During the service, we will remember our saints with the names being read and a bell being tolled for those members we have lost and others that are close to our hearts.
