BIRDSBORO » The Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Tri-County Chiropractic of Douglassville will be held Saturday, March 31, at Main Bird Park, 226 N. Water St. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with the hunt starting at 9:30 a.m. There will be more than 2,000 eggs filled with candy. Divisions include age 1 to 3, age 4 to 6 and age 7 to 9. Proceeds benefit Aidan’s Avengers, which raises awareness and funding for research programs on pediatric brain tumors and to provide financial peace of mind for the families affected.
BECHTELSVILLE » The 8th annual Basket Raffle benefitting Boyertown Area Multi-Service will be held on Friday, April 6, at Morning Star Fellowship, 100 Limekiln Road. Doors open at 5 p.m. Raffle begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission tickets are $20 and may be purchased in advance at the Multi-Service Reception Desk and The Center at Spring Street Reception Desk at 200 West Spring Street, Boyertown. Reserved seating is available. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Attendees may bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. “WOW” Food Truck will have food and beverages available for purchase. Multi-Service will benefit from 10 percent of these sales. Clean-up and work to remove trash, tires and other debris from streams and creeks. The event will take place on Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to noon. Additionally corporate groups are offered the opportunity to volunteer on Friday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to noon. With a total of 74 clean-up sites, it is easy to find a site that would work best for you. ROYERSFORD» A Designer Bag Bingo featuring Coach, Kate Spade and Michael Kors to benefit Julia’s Grace Foundation® will be held on Sunday, April 8.
