President of Barry Isett & Associates named Engineer of the Year
ALLENTOWN >> On Friday, Feb. 26, Kevin T. Campbell, PE, LEED AP, was honored as the 2016 Engineer of the Year by the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers. His achievement was recognized at the 36th Annual Engineers Week Banquet held at the Holiday Inn, Breinigsville.
Campbell is president and chief operating officer of Barry Isett & Associates Inc., a multidiscipline engineering firm with an office in Phoenixville. The immediate past president of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, he has coordinated the Lehigh Valley MathCounts since 2010 and is the co-coordinator of the 2016 statewide competition. MathCounts is a nationwide initiative promoted by the National Society of Professional Engineers to encourage math literacy among middle school students.
Following a 20-year career with Triquint Optoelectronics and its predecessor organizations, Campbell joined Barry Isett & Associates Inc. in 2005 as a staff management analyst. He was named vice president within his first year at the company.
A graduate of Lehigh University, Campbell earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in electrical engineering. Previous to that, he attended Penn State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in metallurgical engineering.
