James Akinjo, Salesian basketball: The Connecticu­t-bound star scored 16 points as the Pride cruised past St. Patrick-St. Vincent 69-52 in the Tri-County Athletic League Rock Division championsh­ip game, completing a 28-1 regular season.

Robby Beasley, Dublin basketball: Scored 12 of his 23 points in the second quarter as the Gaels erased an early deficit and beat Monte Vista 61-54 in the semifinals of the East Bay Athletic League playoffs. Two days later, the star sophomore scored 32 points as Dublin fell to Amador Valley 69-68 in the final. Celia Campo, Campolindo soccer: Scored two goals to lead second-seeded Campolindo to a 3-2 victory over Alhambra in the quarterfin­als of the NCS Division III playoffs.

Joe Foley, Menlo basketball: Star point guard scored 18 points as Menlo capped a 23-1 overall and 14-0 league season with a 58-29 victory over Woodside Priory. The Knights are seeded No. 2 in the Central Coast Section Open Division playoffs.

Greer Hoyem, Menlo-Atherton basketball: Led the Bears with 16 points in a 52-36 victory over Sequoia to reach the Peninsula Athletic League tournament final. Scored 19 points in the title game, but Menlo-Atherton lost to South San Francisco 59-58.

Logan Johnson, St. Francis basketball: Finished with 21 points as the Lancers finished the regular season with a 59-47 victory over Archbishop Riordan. St. Francis took second in the West Catholic Athletic League and is seeded fourth in the CCS Open Division playoffs.

Hekili Jordan, Archbishop Mitty basketball: Free throw with 0.7 seconds left in the final game of regular season clinched a playoff spot for the reigning Central Coast Section Open Division champion as Mitty edged Sacred Heart Cathedral 56-55. Jordan finished with 13 points.

Hannah Jump, Pinewood basketball: Scored 19 points as Pinewood defeated Woodside Priory 68-34 to wrap up a 23-1 overall and 10-0 league season. The Panthers are seeded No. 2 in the CCS Open Division playoffs.

Rodney Lawrence, Jefferson basketball: Led his team to the Peninsula Athletic League tournament final, scoring 25 points as Jefferson defeated Mills 56-41 in a semifinal game. Ziggy Lauese, Sequoia basketball: Had 29 points and 12 rebounds as Sequoia clinched its first regular-season league championsh­ip in 41 years with a 50-39 victory over Mills, then 18 points as Sequoia repeated as Peninsula Athletic League tournament champ with a 62-48 win over Jefferson.

Peyton Omania, De La Salle wrestling: State’s top-ranked wrestler at 145 pounds won his fourth consecutiv­e EBAL championsh­ip and will seek his third NCS title this weekend. Karisma Ortiz, Archbishop Mitty basketball: Penn Statebound standout capped an undefeated regular season for the Monarchs, scoring 23 points in a 75-44 win over Valley Christian. Rodolfo Pedroza, Overfelt soccer: Scored three goals on the week, including two in a 3-1 victory over Prospect that clinched the Blossom Valley Athletic League’s Mount Hamilton Division championsh­ip, the team’s first Mount Hamilton crown in 10 years. Overfelt is 14-3-2 overall and seeded fourth in the Central Coast Section Open Division playoffs.

Lexi Romero, Livermore soccer: Opened the North Coast Section Division II playoffs with four goals in fifth-seeded Livermore’s 9-2 victory over Mission San Jose. Scored another goal in a 2-0 win over No. 4 seed Las Lomas as Livermore advanced to the semifinals.

Jennifer Waldo and Sayler Bagnall, California soccer: Each scored a goal as fourth-seeded California edged San Ramon Valley 2-1 in OT in the quarterfin­als of the NCS Division I playoffs. Ava Williams, Presentati­on basketball: Finished with 21 points as Presentati­on defeated Sacred Heart Cathedral 59-47 to finish tied for second with SHC in the West Catholic Athletic League.

Demetrius Williams, Amador Valley basketball: Scored 21 points to lead the Dons to a 69-68 victory at Dublin in the East Bay Athletic League championsh­ip game.
