- ADVERTORIAL PROVIDED BY KB HOME

The residences at KB Home’s Compass community are in high demand as the new commuter-friendly neighborhood offers homebuyers convenience to transportation corridors, employment centers and regional parks.

KB Home’s new Compass community, which is situated close to Interstate 880, Interstate 580 and Highway 92, as well as to BART and Amtrak stations, will offer homeowners easy travel throughout the Bay Area. Hayward is also home to top employers such as California State University, East Bay; Hayward Unified School District and Kaiser Permanente, plus the nearby San Mateo-Hayward Bridge links Hayward to several prominent technology and advanced manufacturing firms in Silicon Valley, including the Peninsula cities of San Mateo, Redwood City and Palo Alto.

With an easy commute, Compass residents will have more time to enjoy recreation as Hayward offers 3,000 acres of parks and open space, including 20 miles of running and hiking trails. The city also boasts California’s oldest Japanese garden, a championship golf course and beautiful vistas from the hills to the shoreline. Shopping and restaurants are available to homeowners in downtown Hayward and the community is also close to Jack London Square.

The stylish new three-story homes feature desirable price points and design features such as open floor plans, spacious kitchens, and a plethora of storage space. The five floor plans can include up to 2,043 square feet, four bedrooms, threeand-a-half bathrooms and feature two-car garages. Priced from the $780,000 range, the new residences feature modern home designs and are distinguished by open layouts, first-floor bedrooms and dens, and included solar systems and outdoor patios.

Each new KB home can be personalized at

the KB Home Design Studio, where buyers are guided by one of KB Home’s design professionals to create the home of their dreams. At the Design Studio, buyers can select everything from flooring, cabinetry, home technology solutions and many decor choices, all based on their lifestyle and preferences.

Like all KB homes, those offered at Compass will be built to Energy Star guidelines, with solar systems included with each home, along with WaterSense-labeled faucets and fixtures, meaning they are designed to be more energy- and water-efficient than most other typical new and resale homes. The water- and energy-saving features

built into every new KB home can help homeowners save on their monthly utility bills.

The Compass sales office is open Monday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bay Area home shoppers should rush to visit the beautifully adorned model homes this weekend. The community is located at 24975 Huntwood

Avenue in Hayward. From Interstate 880, take Exit 27/Hwy. 92 East. Turn right on Cypress Avenue, left on Austin Avenue and left on Huntwood Avenue to the community on the left.
