Legends Sports Charity Tournament: Aug. 28 at TPC Stonebrae in Hayward. Registration at 9a.m., shotgun start 11am. Proceeds benefit Shop with a Cop Foundation and Heroes and Helpers Holiday. $250 per golfer or $700 per threesome, includes golf, green fees, raffle, awards (hole-inone, closest-to-the-pin contests), catered lunch, dinner, cocktails, and appearances from Vida Blue and other MLB, NHL, NFL and NBA players. $100 for drinks and dinner only. Proceeds benefit foster youth in Santa Clara County. $400 per golfer, $1,600 per foursome, includes 18 holes, putting contest, lunch and dinner for golf and a guest, and awards.
